1. About these terms

These terms apply to withphb.com, the PHB application and your dealings with People Helping Businesses ("PHB", "we", "us"). By using our website or submitting an application, you agree to them. If you are applying on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so and these terms bind that business.

2. What PHB does

PHB arranges business financing. We help you check eligibility, prepare your application and place it with third-party lenders whose programs fit your business. PHB is not a lender. Lenders make every credit decision and set the amount, rate, term and conditions of any financing they offer.

Any financing is provided under a separate agreement between you and the lender. PHB is not a party to that agreement.

3. Speed, amounts and approval

Funding can happen in as little as 24 hours. Actual timing depends on the lender, your business and how quickly documents are provided, and funds are released by the lender after approval and your acceptance of an offer. Amounts from $10,000 to $500,000 reflect the range our lender programs cover. Eligibility results, examples and amounts shown on our website are not an offer or a commitment to lend.

4. Who can apply

Our financing services are for businesses incorporated in Canada or the United States, for business purposes only. You must be at least 18 and an owner or authorized representative of the business.

5. Your information and authorizations

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and complete, and that you will tell us if it changes. Providing false or misleading information may end your application and may be reported where required by law.

When you submit an application, you authorize PHB to share it with lenders and financing partners, and you authorize PHB and those lenders to obtain credit reports and verify the information provided, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Cost and how PHB is paid

There is no cost to check eligibility or apply through PHB, and no obligation to accept any offer. PHB is generally paid by the lender when financing is funded. Any fee payable by you would be disclosed and agreed in writing before you accept an offer.

7. Electronic communications

You agree that we may communicate with you electronically about your application, including by email and, where you agree, text message. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

8. Partner programs

Dealer, broker and referral partnerships are governed by a separate written partner agreement, which sets out responsibilities and compensation. Earnings examples on our website are illustrations only. They are not a promise or guarantee of income, and what any partner earns depends on their own work, the deals they bring and lender approval.

9. Using our website

• Use the website only for lawful purposes and only to apply for, or learn about, our services.
• Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the website's security or operation.
• Do not submit applications on behalf of a business without its authorization.

10. Third-party services

Some steps use services provided by others, such as bank verification, and our website may link to other sites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and PHB is not responsible for them.

11. Our content

The PHB name, logo, website design and content belong to PHB or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission, except to view and print pages for your own use.

12. Disclaimers and liability

Our website and information are provided "as is". Content is general information, not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. To the extent permitted by law, PHB is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any lender's decision, offer or failure to fund.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer or other law that cannot be limited by agreement.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, unless the law where you are located requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the updated terms.
